Caseologue documentation

This tool suite tests the EDAM ontology source code for semantic and syntactic consistency. Caseologue comprises:

• A custom version of the ROBOT report query tool.

• ELK ontology reasoner called using the robot reason command.

• A in house developed python script to complement the above tools and further test the EDAM ontology with tailored quality checks.

Caseologue is primarily used for continuous integration purposes using GitHub Actions workflows in the EDAM GitHub repository and for curation purposes by the EDAM team.
